Flores Unveils Search For Leicester’s Perfect Dinner Guests
< Back to news

Flores, the exciting new pulutan bar and kitchen due to open to the public on Saturday August 25, is launching an imaginative campaign to discover the five famous people, alive or dead, with whom Leicester would share their perfect meal.

Flores’ initiative, recently unveiled on an eye-catching 50ft hoarding on the corner of New Walk and Kings Street, poses the question: “Cowell, Carey or Confucius… who would be your five perfect dinner guests?”

Flores Owner Andrew Jones explained: “As Flores will serve an eclectic mix of food designed to share, we decided to ask the classic dinner party question: “If you could invite five guests to dinner from any era of history, real or imagine, alive or dead, who would you invite? We’re creating a bar and kitchen specifically designed for sharing good food as well as good conversation, and we think this question strikes at the heart of what we’re hoping will be a unique dining experience.”

Flores Executive Chef Jonny Bingham added: “We’ve canvassed friends and family with their thoughts and already have votes for the likes of Simon Cowell, Madonna, JK Rowling, Nigella Lawson, Gary Lineker and even Wonder Woman! It’s going to be fascinating to see who makes our final table.”

Those wishing to record their five perfect dinner guests can do so by visiting www.flores-leicester.co.uk. All entries will be collated to make Leicester’s perfect dinner guests.

One entrant to Flores’ Famous Five initiative will be selected at random and be invited, along with five friends, to Flores’ private launch evening on Thursday August 24th.

At the launch evening, a unique picture of the winning entrant and their five famous selections will be ceremonially hung on the Flores gallery wall - entries close on Friday August 17.
